Today we get up, and run down to catch a ferry to Mackinac Island, MI.
After a (warm) jaunt around the garrison, we then made our way back to the bike so that we could ride down to Petoskey, MI on the now eastern side of Lake Michigan. We rode through the Tunnel of Trees, a 20 mile two lane stretch of M-119 between Cross Village and Harbor Springs. It winds through a canopy of tall, mature trees which parallels Lake Michigan to the west and missed getting wet, until after dinner when it poured on us heading back to our room.
