AP Texas 3
Touring Rockport…
So this morning we woke up early to take a little field trip over to Rockport Texas, ground zero for Hurricane Harvey’s first landfall at Category 4 strength. We shot quite a few pictures of the town, and remind you this is two weeks post Harvey’s departure. The damage is surreal, one glimpse of hope we saw a News van doing a report on location in Rockport.
- A debris field in between Hwy 35’s north/south lanes
- Debris collected and temporarily held in between the lanes of Hwy 35.
- We’re Home and Armed, like a lot of folks I’m sure.
- Search markings left by rescuers
- The bay outside Rockport, TX
- A lone newscaster, filming on location.
- Hope somebody saw the report…
- Eve gas pumps got tossed…
- Telephone pole that was shredded…
